Intro to Breathwork

Join Hunter for a breathwork journey that will calm the mind, boost your immune system, and release stuck emotions.
In this workshop, you will learn how to process and work through emotions with just your breath! Join us to learn how breathwork can affect mood and learn different breathing techniques for stress, sleeping, having a better day, and deep relaxation.
After class, you will be much more aware of your breath, aware of emotions, know how to release tension, and find a deeper sense of relaxation and connection with self. During class, you will find a higher level of consciousness, empowerment, and more control over life.
Leave class with breathwork exercises that you can do at any moment of the day, along with journaling prompts to help guide you.
If you’re looking for a practice to help you work through your emotions, stress, and anxiety, and become more relaxed, this class is for you! All ages are welcome.
Things to know before class: You are welcome to bring a blanket, journal, and water bottle. Don’t eat for at least 1-2 hours before class and wear comfortable clothing.

About Your Insructor:
After 40 rounds of chemo and radiation for stage 3 colorectal cancer, Hunter set off to find peace, health, and happiness. He left behind his career as a commercial diver to study across Asia for the last 3 years. He is back in central Illinois to bring the lessons he learned back to his community.
4-5 years ago, Hunter found out about breathwork. hHe found that he could never sit and do meditation, but got really good experiences with breathwork. He traveled for 3 years teaching breathwork in different countries as he continued to study to get a certification. He is now a 22-hr yoga instructor, works with corporate clients, and is getting breathwork into schools and mental health facilities.
