Starting Your Week Off Slowly: Yoga & Meditation Class

Join us for Sunday morning meditation to start your week off slow!
This series is a gentle but challenging yoga movement for everyone of all ages. Breathwork and meditation will be conducted during class to bring peacefulness and a sense of calm. This is an experience for YOU! Self-care sets the tone for your week to help you be more present for yourself. Give yourself this gift.
This yoga series is for people who would like to start their week off slow and intentional and for people who want to experience a mind-body connection through intention, breath, movement, journaling, and meditation!
Our hope is that using yoga as a self-care practice will help you to start your week in a more calm and intentional way. Each class will provide tools that will enable you to move through life with more mindfulness, peace, and calm.
** although yoga is for everybody, one will need to be able to get up and down off of the mat. This is a very gentle yet challenging class. Bring your favorite journal, or grab an available journal when you get here.

About your Instructor:
Karla Freeze had been interested in yoga for several years, before attending her first yoga class in 2011. Yoga sparked a deeper connection that led to her journey of self-discovery.
Karla started practicing yoga in a much larger body, furthering her self-care journey after weighing nearly 400 lbs. and being diagnosed with Type 2 diabetes.
After reclaiming her health by eating a plant-based diet, Karla’s passion is helping to educate others about whole food plant-based eating. A natural next step in her yoga journey included receiving her RYT-200 in 2018.
Karla strives to create a safe, welcoming space in her classes where students of every size and ability can learn more about being in tune with themselves. She hopes to inspire them on their own path.
